Abigael is on cloud nine. As she was going about her day, she managed to secure a freelance job. The pay is excellent, has some interesting benefits, and involves using her skill set with her greatest passion – cannabis. Abigael passed by the dispensary, because she regularly goes there on her way to the beach house from work on Monday evening. She goes to get her supply of buds and oils. Abigael is a regular cannabis smoker, and has been since middle school. When she was checking out, she heard the manager talking about their new smokers lounge. He said they would need a custom ventilation system to meet the legal requirements. Abigael is a Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker full time, so this was right up her alley. This was a privately owned and operated site, on a limited budget, so she had a private talk about providing goods and services for her Heating, Ventilation and A/C work. She’d carry out the task, if they paid for all the materials and did an update of the ventilation system. Abigael would work at night when the dispensary was closed. She assured them she’d have the ventilation system done in a week. At that point Abigael would need payment in the form of cannabis, and not only that, but she wanted a permanent employee discount for all future purchases. She literally brokered a deal trading Heating, Ventilation and A/C services for cannabis. She’s never been more pleased with myself. In the future Abigael will provide all needed upkeep for the ventilation system, because she goes in there so often anyway it won’t even be a big change.
