I have been spending more and more time in the kitchen. What started off as a little hobby to pass the time during the lockdown rapidly became my primary source of income! I consider myself blessed to have found a new way to provide for myself and my family, and it’s something I enjoy doing, to boot! Long story short, I am very good at making cannabis edibles, and supply three local dispensaries with my culinary concoctions! Since I spend many hours a day working my butt off in the kitchen, I decided it was time to upgrade my equipment. Not just a new oven, but a new range hood with a better ventilation system included. I had a local HVAC tech come by to inspect the kitchen and give me a price estimate, and then I had a second tech come over and do the same thing. The second tech gave me a slightly higher price quote, but that figure included putting in two new air vents, as well. The HVAC tech explained to me that with the extra air vents along the baseboards I would remain more comfortable while standing next to the hot oven. I decided to go with the second HVAC tech and pay a little more, to hopefully get a much cooler kitchen in return. Ultimately, since I am going to keep spending most of my time in the kitchen, then the kitchen should have the best AC and the best ventilation in the entire house.
