When we bought our home last fall season, we were only concerned about the heating system working well. There actually was no central cooling system in our home, only a boiler system to supply good heating for the household. The boiler system worked great through the winter and the HVAC professional said it was in excellent shape. Well, when the spring came around, we had to start thinking about a good cooling system for the house. We ended up getting a coupon in the mail from a local HVAC company that provided $200 off ductless mini split installations. I looked into ductless mini splits and learned that they were highly energy efficient heating and cooling systems. They have HVAC zone control so you can have multiple zones in your home with customized temperature control settings. I thought this would be perfect for our home so I made the appointment to get an estimate. Unfortunately when the HVAC professional came out, all the wasps started coming out too. We didn’t realize we had such a terrible problem with wasps, they were all over the place! The HVAC professional was concerned about the wasps, but he did provide us with the estimate and had a good plan for the installation. He just said that we needed to hire a pest control expert to get rid of all those wasps, or they wouldn’t be able to install the new HVAC safely. We did just that, and now we have no more wasps and a wonderful new ductless mini split! It’s probably the nicest HVAC system I have ever used.
