I always thought that everybody underestimated my sister, even my parents.
- They would say things like you can do whatever you put your mind to, but it seemed like they didn’t necessarily believe that.
I remember when my father was talking about getting the ductwork system replaced for the HVAC. My sister told my father he should just have it resealed because eventually there would be more energy efficient ductless HVAC systems. My father laughed at my sister for even bringing up such a thing because he thought that would never be a thing. He ended up replacing all the ductwork without listening to her and he paid a lot of money for that ductwork. Eventually, the old HVAC needed to be replaced and the HVAC professionals ended up telling my parents that it would be best to go with a ductless HVAC upgrade. My father was in total disbelief, but even then he knew that his daughter had a gift with heating and cooling systems. She was always fascinated by HVAC technology and read all the time about future technological advancements. She ended up becoming an engineer who primarily works on new designs for more energy efficient HVAC systems and systems that are able to supply green energy. She always did have a thing for saving the environment by eliminating toxic waste and pollution. I think she may help save the world with her genius mind.
