I toil in a beautiful downtown office building, however well, half the time I toil from there, and the other half of the time, I toil from home, which has become commonplace during the epidemic, right? I am lucky in that I still have a task, plus I am grateful, too! One thing I am not grateful for, though, is the battle I get into every time I am in the office; You might guess it is a conflict with our boss, however it’s not. Well, then, you guess it might be with someone in 1 of the other offices in the building, however it is not. The battle I seem to engage in every morning is the office’s HVAC equipment, in the summer, the in our boss’s office never gets down to the thermostat setting she likes, so what does she do? She sets our thermostat way too low inhope of the cooling reaching her office, so, in Summer I am cold due to the in our boss’s office, and nOw that Winter is here, plus it is constantly cold or close to it, I am still cold! The HVAC heating doesn’t seem to get moderate enough. I finally got sick of it plus ordered an electric portable heating system for our office. I plug that thing in plus put it on the floor plus soon I have lots of heating blowing on our feet plus warming myself and others from the bottom up. Occasionally I am so cold that I put the little heating system right on our desk, people laugh at myself and others when I do that, although I really don’t care. Without the heater, it is too cold for myself and others to be able to type, plus since I want to keep our task, I do what I have to do.
