I have always been traditionally late to the party.
The flip phone was something I still used up until just a few years ago.
So, it shouldn’t be surprising that I have also been late to the party when it comes to my health and wellness. I think I just took my health plans for granted. It’s not as though I ever really over indulged or led any sort of self destructive lifestyle. In fact, I have remained active all of my adult life with outdoor activities. But, as I have gotten older, I have been less inclined to commit to exercise or any sort of personal training. That had to change as my energy ebbed and it was all I could do to just get off the couch. My buddy helped me out in a big way by introducing me to a great health and fitness center. I was able to check out this local gym with the use of some guest passes. This allowed me to sort of take things in for myself prior to talking about obtaining a gym membership. However, it only took a few visits to this health and wellness center to feel right at home. I signed up for a gym membership with personal training as my focus. I knew I would need the help of certified fitness experts to motivate and teach me what I needed when it came to health and wellness. It hasn’t taken too long to get into a good routine. I meet with my personal trainer at least once per week. We check in on my progress and the effectiveness of my workout program. While I was yet again late to the party, I’m sure thankful that I found it.
