So much variety at the local gym

There is something so positive and good about maintaining an active lifestyle.

It’s weird that I got away from that perspective in the last decade or so.

I always enjoyed going to the gym and making my health and fitness a priority. And not just for health and fitness sake. Being fit, healthy and active really helped as a foundation for living the rest of my life. But like anything else, it takes a bit of discipline and commitment. Life got busy as I became entrenched in family and business. Unfortunately, I chose to sacrifice things that were important and essential to my wealth being. I let that gym membership lapse. Sure, I still played golf and even doubles tennis from time to time. However, the focused personal fitness programs dropped by the wayside. 10 years later, I found myself out of shape, low energy and just bummed out. But, I did have the sense to revisit my prior relationship with health and fitness. My first visit to my new health and wellness center was really just about all it took. I was captivated from the minute the tour started. And it was clear that I could count on certified fitness experts to help me define and execute a plan to get back in decent shape. Perhaps what I wasn’t prepared for was just how vast the workout program choices actually were. It was astonishing. I am doing yoga now for the first time in my life. I have incorporated cardio into my weight lifting as well. The more fit I get, the more I want to explore when it comes to health and wellness.
