I work in a warehouse that produces automobile parts. A lot of people in my city work for the warehouse plus the automobile industry is pretty large in this area! Most of my family plus friends work for the automobile plant. My Dad retired from the corporation last year plus my mother is going to retire next year. I started working at the plant when I became 18. I was working on a routine task every single afternoon. I stayed scheduled plus received a promotion 6 months later. I started working in the boiler room plus managed to get a significant pay raise. Everyone working inside the boiler room deals with dangerous plus sizzling conditions, so the rate of pay is significantly higher than other tasks in the plant. A few weeks after I started, there was a fairly large explosion in the boiler room. The boiler was allowed to run dry plus it was producing heat without any water. This is particularly one of the most dangerous situations when using a sizzling water boiler. The complication caused an explosion in the boiler room! Luckily, only one lady was in the room at the time. That lady got minor steam burns on her arms plus face. The rest of my co-workers plus I were out of work for 3 days while every one of us waited for the boiler repair to be handled. After witnessing the explosion, I can see why this task pays more than others. If I would have been doing my regular task at the time, I would have been gravely disfigured.
