My wifey and I got a brand new puppy a couple of weeks back, and she is unquestionably cute, although she gets into trouble most of the time.
- She has been potty trained for a few weeks, so she is out in the household all afternoon long.
I walk her in the yard every few hours, and she doesn’t have any accidents whatsoever. She usually hangs out in the family room or the residing room, but lately she has been walking around the household just looking for trouble. Friday, I was cooking some food in the kitchen area. I was making waffles, scrambled eggs, fresh orange juice, and bacon. I lost sight of the puppy for a short while. That’s all it took for my cute baby to chew a massive hole in the middle of the residing room carpet. She didn’t choose the side by the tv, or a small section by the couch. She made the choice to chew a hole right in the middle of the walkway. I almost passed out when I saw the chewed bits of carpet and padding. It’s a fine thing I do not have a horrible temper, because I do not recall being more miserable. I thought I was going to need to replace the entire carpet. I called a carpet restoration and cleaning contractor for assistance. They said they would be able to fix the carpet with a patch. The carpet cleaning contractor offered to deliver me a free estimate, so I had them come out on Sunday. I had the carpet worker perform the service and it doesn’t look bad in the least. It blends in nicely, and I believe it will hold for a long while.
