When the pandemic hit, everyone in our office was given the ability to work from home.
I have enjoyed working from home. I have an excellent HVAC system with my own air purification system. I have my own personal area where I work. I have all the equipment I need to do my job and I am doing well working from home. After almost three months of working from home, I finally got the call that they were reopening the office. My main concern was how they were going to continue social distancing. They never really had the best HVAC system in the building and I could only hope they had fixed the HVAC and added an air purifier. When I had my new HVAC system installed, I had the air purifier installed. I knew that it would help to clean my air and make my air quality the best I could get. I had a dehumidifier installed for summer and a humidifier installed for winter. I knew how good my air quality was and I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t just stay home. I called my boss and I put in a request to talk to him as soon as possible. I was given a time to call for a phone chat. I explained to him how well I was doing with my work at home. I told him that I was concerned with needing to leave my home when we were still in the midst of the pandemic. I’m hoping he agrees with my staying at home.
