HVAC tech brother thinks its the answer to health issues

I really respect my family members and I do my best to always listen to their opinions. This can be difficult, because we are extremely diverse humans at the end of the day. Even with all of our shared genetic material, it seems like we see the world very differently from one another. This is why I struggle to get along with my oldest brother at times. I know that he means well, but he can be an extremely pushy know-it-all when he thinks that he has the right answers to life. This couldn’t be more apparent than when he starts talking about my family’s ongoing challenges with allergies and immune diseases. I don’t know what happened when my husband and I got together, but we produce the family that is plagued with illnesses. My brother is convinced that the root of our struggles is our indoor air handling system. For the past five years he has been trying to convince me to upgrade our central heating and cooling system to include air purification devices, HEPA air filters, and UV light disinfection appliances. I wish that I could afford all of these heating and cooling upgrades, but I’m busy just trying to cover our doctor appointments and prescription allergy medications. Still, my brother is constantly sending me articles about air quality management and human health. I can’t tell you how many times he has recommended HVAC dealerships or specific heating and cooling technicians when my kids were sick with the flu. Personally, I think our family health has more to do with genetics than our heating and cooling devices, but nothing I say will ever convince him that the air conditioning unit and forced air furnace are innocent.
