If I don’t use my HVAC, I can afford a new one next year

So begins another long, difficult day of just trying to survive and extreme discomfort.

I can’t say that I’ve been having the best summer, if you haven’t caught on.

It has been a rather difficult time for everybody but I have been particularly unhappy with my living situation throughout this entire covid-19 nonsense. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with staying at home and avoiding other human beings. However, I do have an immense issue with living in a house where there is no indoor air temperature control. You see, my central heating and cooling system has not worked right for several years now. I’ve known that the air conditioning unit was on its last leg for a while. I haven’t wanted to replace the air conditioning system before it was extremely necessary to upgrade my cooling units because I know how expensive it is to call professional heating, cooling, and air quality control technicians. That being said, when my air conditioning unit started making the worst sounds on Earth this year, I knew that my reliance on indoor air handling devices was about to take a turn for the worst. I have come to the realization that I can’t afford a new air conditioning system if I am paying to operate the old cooling unit. In short, my energy bills are too high to afford a professional HVAC installation. As such, I have been enduring this global pandemic in a hot and humid house without any air conditioning. I figure, if I live without any HVAC this year… I can actually afford to buy a new HVAC next year.
