Now that I’m an adult with a house of my own, I really love it when it is time to get the HVAC maintenance work done at my house! I know that probably sounds like a pretty weird kind of thing to get excited about, but when you’re a grownup, you get excited about things like washing machines and HVAC systems.
I try and get my regular air conditioning maintenance done at least once a year, and I tend to do it at the beginning of spring right before the weather starts heating up. Over the years since I started living in my own place with my own high efficiency air conditioning system, I have started to look forward to when my local HVAC company comes out to do our air conditioning maintenance. Something about the way the indoor air quality feels after the HVAC technician finishes the job just makes the whole house feel fresh and clean. Last year, I had them add a whole home air purification system to run in tandem with our existing heating and cooling system, too. Now, I know that the air quality in my house is really top notch. I can’t wait for the HVAC company to come and do the A/C maintenance and clean out the ductwork. I know that the house is going to feel extra crisp and clean once they finish up with the job! It’s funny how things like this seem so exciting now that I’m an adult with a home and an HVAC unit of my own to take care of.
