I’m not a high maintenance woman by any means.
I recently had to make a decision between getting an upgraded heating and cooling system for my house and getting a new sofa. I couldn’t afford to do both, and I didn’t want to go into debt for either one. I had saved up quite a bit of money over the past several months so that I could purchase this awesome new red couch from the local furniture store. I had my eye on it for quite some time, ever since they had showcased it in their front window. Right when I was getting ready to head down there and order the couch, though, my air conditioning system went on the blink. I couldn’t believe my bad luck, to be honest. I wanted that couch so much, but I knew that I couldn’t possibly live through the summer without an air conditioning system, either. I always try to pay cash for things whenever it’s possible. So it was impossible for me to both pay for that beautiful new red couch and also get my A/C repaired! I was so mad. If only the A/C could have torn up closer to the end of the summer than at the beginning. It was just about the time that the weather started to heat up and I knew that the A/C was much more important to my well being than the new couch was. I opted to get the air conditioning repaired, but I’m still dreaming about my new couch.
