It was such a simple idea, I couldn’t understand why we hadn’t done it long ago.
I don’t know why I had never thought about it before, but we don’t have Zone Control in our house. You would think that everyone in this day and age would have this, but not us. I just recently had Zone Control installed, in hopes of saving my marriage. We, like everyone else, were stuck in our home for almost three months. I thought we had a happy marriage and nothing could harm it. I was wrong. My wife and I were going at each other like wild wolves. We got to the point where we were fighting over how warm it got in the house. It didn’t matter if it was winter or summer, the thermostat was at seventy-five. I don’t think we had ever touched it. She would be in the living room watching TV and she would be begging me to put down the paper, while asking why I wasn’t hot. I finally decided that if I could do one thing to help us to survive, it was to install Zone Control. It was such a simple idea, I couldn’t understand why we hadn’t done it long ago. The HVAC company simply installed valves in the ductwork that helped to direct the airflow to different areas. We had thermostats in every room of the house, so we could have a different temperature in every room. We even saved money on the energy bill since we didn’t need to heat or cool those rooms that weren’t in use. We aren’t perfect now, but it is better than it was a couple weeks ago.
