I never expected to be in the middle of a pandemic and trying to build an office in my home.
It surprised me that I couldn’t find a single space in my home where I could put that office.
The spare bedroom had remained spare because it was so hard to be in. The HVAC didn’t reach that room. You could hear everything that everyone was saying in the house. It was no wonder no one would claim that room. I was outside in the yard, mowing the lawn, when I glanced over at the shed. I knew it would need to be cleaned and I would also need to have some work done. The first thing that came to mind was that I was going to have an HVAC system installed. I had been hearing a lot about ductless HvAC units. I could just picture one of those ductless HVAC units, hanging on the wall inside. I could almost hear the gentle hum of the HVAC as I sat in there with my office equipment and worked all day. I wanted to have some wall board installed so I would have some sound proofing from the outside. I would also need to put electricity in the shed. I was sure we could handle the cost, since it was for work. I could also take all of the equipment, the upgrades and the ductless HVAC off our taxes. I was making a good move by fixing up the shed and putting heating and air conditioning inside. I was so happy, I jumped up and shouted..
