Space heaters are a fire hazard

I got a very scary call the other day from a good friend of mine, she called me up and she was freaking out.

She was shouting that her apartment was on fire and that she didn’t suppose what to do! I asked him if she called the fire department and she stated that she already messaged them and they were on the way.

I decided to rush over to her venue instantly to help him out. She was thankful when I finally showed up because she was freezing outside just watching the firefighters work on getting rid of the flames. I told him to hop in my automobile so she could overheat up with the oil furnace. I couldn’t suppose it, she was just out there in her clothes and a coat that she grabbed before fleeing the apartment as it was going up in flames. She explained that she turned on her space heating system and then made the choice to go take a shower. She said she should have known to turn off the space heater, however she forgot about it! The space heating system was actually a little too close to her lounger and it caught on fire! When she hopped out of the shower, she odored smoke and was alarmed when her study room was on fire. She quickly went ahead and grabbed her pajamas that she was wearing before she hopped in the shower and put on her overcoat and ran outside with her cellphone to call the fire department and then me. When the firefighters eventually were able to knock out the fire, the apartment ended up doing a good deal of mangle. I know this is a lesson my friend had to learn the taxing way not to leave space gas furnaces unattended, then at least she has fire insurance so the mangles should be ok.
