I was so caught off guard when my buddy asked me to go carolling with him plus some church members during the holiday season, and I was entirely hesitant about going, despite the fact that she said that she would make us some hot chocolate plus Christmas cookies.
It truthfully was hard to pass up on her hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, because they were entirely good, then she has some kind of secret family recipe and I truthfully have never tasted such good cookies, plus the hot chocolate was to do anything for, however so I told him I would go however if I got too cold, I would want to get out of the cold weather and just have some of those treats she was talking about.
She said that her wifey would have the fireplace going with the perfect temperature control settings so that we had the chance to warm up by the fireplace plus sip on some homemade hot chocolate. I agreed and we each decided to go carolling for quite some time, however eventually, it was getting way too cold for me. She saw that I was feeling uncomfortable plus said that both of us could go if I wanted, and I nodded my head in agreement that it was time. We said our goodbyes to the church members and they continued to go carolling door to door. I have to admit, it was a good time, I was just too chilly out there after about an minute. So it was exactly as my buddy promised, both of us were able to warm up by the fireplace plus my buddy’s wifey brought out the hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. It was such a nice reward after braving the chilly weather.
