I visited my great aunt at least a couple of times a month.
But it wasn’t some great humanitarian effort on my part.
That’s just not what my time with my aunt was all about. I loved to take her out of her less than stellar central air conditioning to get some sun or just sit and watch people. She was a great people watcher and that was so much fun. We were a lot alike my great aunt and I. We sort of went our own way without much fuss but with confidence that we were following our hearts to the best life we could have. That was important to both of us. It was so sad when she died. It was just so quick but that’s the way she wanted to go. But I was stunned when she left me her house and the property it sits on. We’re talking about more than ten acres and a nice ranch style, three bedroom house. I’d lived in apartments all my life as I just couldn’t afford a house doing what I did for a living. So when I got this place I was over the moon. However, there were so things that had to be done. The aforementioned heating and cooling had to be updated. But the central air conditioning system in the house was so old that even the air ducts were useless. Thanks to the HVAC professionals, there was a great option for me. And that would be the ductless heat pumps that now produce just the best quality heating and air I could ever ask for.
