Communication is really important whenever you have to hire an HVAC technician to do work for you in your house. This was not something that I ever really thought about until this past summer when we had to hire an HVAC technician to come and work on the central air conditioning system in our house. Right in the middle of the summer, for no apparent reason, our central air conditioning system stopped working. I did not really even notice it until one day it was the middle of the day and all of a sudden it was so hot in the house that I could barely even breathe. When I went to look at the thermostat, the temperature reading was 82 degrees! I don’t think that our house has ever been that hot inside before. We called an Internet technician to have him come out and check out the air conditioning system for us right away. On the phone, everything seemed to be fine, but when the HVAC technician showed up at the house, he would barely even speak to us. It was like he had some kind of an issue with talking to people. I just think that if you’re gonna be working with the public, then you should be able to communicate clearly and with intention. It really became an issue when he was going in and out of the house and not telling us when he was going to be back and things like that. The air conditioning repair took way longer than we thought it was going to take, and it also cost us more than we thought it was going to cost! A little bit of communication would have helped out tremendously.
