I left a note on the door and left to go to my next task
Most of our furnace repair appointments are busy on Saturdays and Fridays. My boss does not schedule repair appointments on Saturday, because the two of us are unquestionably busy with weekend calls. The people I was with and I don’t offer Emergency Services unless it is a commercial client… On Saturday morning, I left the furnace repair shop with several tasks busy for the day. The first task was a routine furnace repair appointment, and from the notes on the client call sheet, I assumed that the Furnace needed a new temperature control. I met with the customer, fixed the issue, and was out the door in less than an minute. My next task was a furnace tune-up. The task was only 12 miles away from my first appointment, so it only took a short time to arrive. I tried to call client to let them think I was on the way… No 1 answered the phone, so I left a voictext. When I pulled into the driveway, I did not see any other cars. I walked up to the door and knocked loudly several times. No 1 came to the door and I did not hear any noise coming from inside of the house. I went back to the truck and called my boss; She tried to call the client as well, however the two of us did not get any answer. I left a note on the door and left to go to my next task. Later that day, the client called to tell us that she thought the appointment was busy for Friday. That is 1 of the most frequent problems the two of us have, when patrons schedule a tune-up in advance.
