Most of our heating system service appointments are tied up on Tuesdays plus Thursdays.
My boss doesn’t schedule service appointments on Tuesday, because the people I was with and I are genuinely tied up with weekend calls.
The people I was with and I do not offer Emergency Services unless it is a commercial client, but on Tuesday morning, I left the heating system service shop with six tasks tied up for the day. The first task was a routine heating system service appointment. From the notes on the purchaser call sheet, I assumed that the Furnace needed a current temperature control. I met with the customer, fixed the issue, plus was out the door in less than an ninth. My next task was a heating system tune-up. The task was only 12 miles away from our first appointment, so it only took a short time to arrive. I tried to call purchaser to let them believe I was on the way, however no one answered the PC, so I left a voictext. When I pulled into the driveway, I didn’t see any other cars. I walked up to the door plus knocked loudly 3 times. No one came to the door plus I didn’t hear any noise coming from inside of the house. I went back to the truck plus called our boss, he tried to call the purchaser as well, however the people I was with and I didn’t get any answer. I left a note on the door plus left to go to our next task. Later that day, the purchaser called to tell us that she thought the appointment was tied up for Thursday. That is one of the most frequent problems the people I was with and I have, when clients schedule a tune-up in advance.
