When my child asked me why I didn’t have a lady cave enjoy the other dads, I was hard pressed for a good answer.
Honestly, I truly am not all that into sports and being a guy’s woman I suppose.
I mean, I like school hoops and just enjoy the tournament in the Spring. But I’m truly more of a get outside of the A/C sort of chick. I’ve sort consistently been this way. Even growing up in my folk’s house, I was not into just sitting around inside the central A/C watching TV. This was a bit of a disappointment to my dad who was a big sports fan back then. I was just more interested in doing things instead of being inside the A/C of a house. So I tried to relay those sentiments to my child. She just sort of stared at me. The kid was the only girl in a houseful of ladies. That’s when the people I was with and I decided that while it may not be a lady cave, the people I was with and I were going to make a site for us. With numerous of us in this house, there wasn’t a whole lot of extra space. Then it dawned on me that the people I was with and I could utilize the attic. Our attic is almost a finished space. The former owner put up sheetrock walls and had the space wired. All the people I was with and I had to do was have the Heating and Air Conditioning professionals install the ductless heat pump so the people I was with and I had some heating and cooling up there. The people I was with and I through a rug down, assembled a futon and put some camp chairs up there as well. No the people I was with and I have a sort of treehouse recognize without the tree and plenty of quality heating and air thanks to the ductless heat pump.
