Okay, so I was just wild about this guy and when he asked me to move in with him, I did because I hoped it would end up being perfect.
It’s three years later and while a challenge, there is that perfect love that we share.
And we’re now engaged. But living with the man was a big challenge. It’s really more from a comfort level and lifestyle perspective that has been the challenge. For one, I was living without residential HVAC. Actually, I was living without a lot of things that I once took for granted. This man whom I fell madly in love with and will soon be my husband also lives way out in the woods and off the grid. The first time I heard about that, I thought this guy would be a mountain man. I met him inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. He is a contributor to the magazine I work for. I was so curious about how he lived that he just invited me to come out. It was so cool that I was stunned that it was as nice as it was. The cabin was beautiful and like a small but normal house. Only there wasn’t any sort of residential HVAC. He had a wood stove for heating but that was it. And that’s really the only change that I had to ask for which he was glad to accommodate. So the HVAC company installed a ductless heat pump inside the cabin and now I have some wonderful HVAC cooling in the summer.
