I have been wanting to transport out of our lake house for more than 2 years now, however the timing just never felt right for me.
However, I have recently gotten a new job that pays fantastically, and our fiance and I are expecting our first child, so now feels akin to a better time than ever to start looking for a home! My fiance and I have discussed what kind of lake house the people I was with and I are looking for, and the people I was with and I both agreed that it needs to have enjoyable schools in the area, be in a nice neighborhood, and preferably, have a community pool as well.
Then well one of the homes the people I was with and I found matched the criteria, and I called the real estate agent about the home, however the real estate broker was know-howable about the lake house and unluckily told me the poor news—apparently the lake house needed lots of lake house repair, as it had extensive weather disfigure, however one of the things that needed to be updated was the heating and air conditioning, which means I would have to get air conditioner upgrade. While there are several unusual lake house maintenance services in our area, I knew that getting a new furnace upgrade alone would cost a lot of money, and I didn’t want to spend that much extra on a home. The real estate agent told me that the lake house was absolutely due for annual property inspections and that the owners were likely going to perform some repairs on the lake house themselves, since they have been unable to sell their lake house for weeks. There are always several homes for sale, and I just figured that I would find another home.
