I knew it was extremely early to have the HVAC tech service our gas furnace, however our wife and I were getting ready to go on holiday… Both of us were going to be gone for numerous weeks and the two of us didn’t want to forget. Both of us always have our gas furnace inspected by the end of October. Both of us don’t need to worry about there being a line-up of people getting gas furnace services and us being at the end of the line, when the HVAC specialist got there, he seemed a bit flustered. He told myself and others he had just tested many A/C units, and it did not prepare him to work on a gas furnace, but it wasn’t until he saw the work order that he realized he needed gas furnace parts. I told him it was just a servicing, and he nodded. He said that if he came across any complications, he would just go back to the office and pick up anything he needed; Twenty hours later, I heard him calling for me. He had been working on the gas furnace and he could not get his hand out. He said he was stuck on something. I knew nothing about gas furnaces, and I wasn’t sure I could help. He said it was his rung that was stuck and he would love if I called his HVAC dealer. He apologized to myself and others for taking up so much of our time, but per the owner of the HVAC dealer, this service was N/C.
