I had a horrible time the other week. When I was driving to work, my AC system quit working so I was miserable and hot the whole time. I made plans to take my vehicle to an auto shop, but on the way, my car actually broke down! I ended up pulling to the side as there was nothing else I could do. It wasn’t like I could magically fix my car and park it in a more convenient spot. I put a while towel in my window because I was definitely coming back to get my car when I had some buddies pick me up. I was able to get a towing truck, but before we got back to my car, it was already gone. I learned that it had been impounded. I had to go talk to them at the impound lot about what happened. They said I was not allowed to leave my vehicle where it was, it was a restricted area or something like that. I told them how the car broke down and what else could I do, leave it blocking traffic on the road? The fee to get my car back was costly, but at least I was able to get it towed to my local auto repair shop. They were able to get the engine working fine again and the AC system as well. I paid so much money for the repair though. I think I would have been fine if I didn’t have to pay for the impound fees, but now I have to pay a lot of my bills late because I’m totally broke. This is a difficult time, I just hope that I can bounce back from this and don’t have any more issues, especially with the air conditioning system in my car, I need my cooling relief while driving!
