It was early Sunday afternoon when Jill heard a loud knock on her door.
It had been such a tepid night and she was drenched in sweat by the time she was woken up by the knock. Jill swiftly changed her pajamas, put on her robe, and headed to the door. It was her neighbor. She was ranting about her electric heat pump. It was making crazy noises and that morning she had found it smoking. Jill asked her to switch it off as she got ready to come to check it. When Jill got to her kitchen, she heard a loud bang that sounded like a tire burst. It was her neighbor’s HVAC unit that had blown up. When Jill got there and saw the state of the HVAC system, she knew that she would have to buy another unit from the Heating & A/C business. Jill is a certified HVAC specialist and she did not need to examine the unit to pinpoint the issue. She visited the Heating & A/C dealers to get a new plan with the latest cooling technology. Jill also commissioned a HVAC worker to help with the Heating & A/C installations. To further help with indoor comfort, she had the weather conditions control unit upgraded to a digital temperature control. The local service provider also helped Jill’s neighbor schedule the annual quality A/C service. The annual tune-ups were important for the optimal function of the unit. Her neighbor was so cheerful with the HVAC company and how efficient Jill had been in fixing her unit. Lucky for her, the blast did not harm anyone at the house. They had received an important lesson to keep up with all the repairs.
