We have had such rough two years but there is a silver lining for every situation. When the pandemic hit, I lost my business as we could not keep up. I had just started the business and it was very young by the time Covid hit the world. I had started an HVAC business and even had three HVAC contractors to help around. After months of staying in the city with literally nothing to do, I decided to go back to my hometown. It was a very good idea because the change of environment helped with my creativity. One evening, as we were having iced tea with my aunt, I got an idea to bring my skills as a cooling specialist to the town. I would be the local service provider for all the cooling issues. I would introduce the new cooling technology to the residents of the town. Our first job was for a quality AC service on our neighbor’s electric heat pump. Our neighbor had been having issues with his cooling equipment as well as the climate control device. I employed one cooling technician to help me with such jobs. This is what we needed to have the town’s residents trust our cooling corporation. After fixing our neighbor’s system, we got numerous job requests and most of them were HVAC installations. I remember within the second month of starting the business, we had fitted about 20 units. My aunt reiterated to me the initial idea and I was happy to provide help with indoor comfort to the residents of the town. There was my silver lining. I got to help the people of my town and make money in the process.
