Dehumidifiers Are Not Perfect and I Prefer to Use a Humidifier at My House

I have a humidifier to serve as an assistant to my A/C & oil furnace in our house. If your apartment is located far in the North, then you are probably aware that A/Cs & oil furnaces have the same method in our neck of the woods, then your A/C cools the air by taking away much of the moisture from the air in your house. Dehumidifiers create cooler air in your house, & it also helps people who live in areas with very high humidity. Your oil furnace works much in the same way. By heating up & sending the hot air throughout your entire house, the air in your apartment is less humid. For me, this is not ideal because our air is absolutely dry no matter what time of year it is. When our Heating as well as Air Conditioning units suck out the small amounts of moisture in our air, then I have to put up with dry & cracking skin along with chapped lips. This is why I decided to get a humidifier for my house. The humidifier works by added liquid water into a holding tank. The water in the tank is heated by the Heating as well as Air Conditioning component & then sent out into the air to add more humidity. By making use of a humidifier, I am able to have fewer dry air health concerns. You can even order 1 of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning units that has a water line into the dehumidifier so that you don’t have to consistently add water from a jug. The negative aspect of this whole system is that I have to clean the Heating as well as Air Conditioning parts way more than I would like. Our water has a lot of calcium in it, & it turns everything white & crusty, so maybe I will start using a water softener, as well.
