My partner has always enjoyed baseball; From the time he played little league when he was a little boy, he’s always dreamed about being a coach… He never easily wanted to go to the big leagues or anything love that. He’s always just wanted to be a coach. And I love that about him, usually! But this year, the whole season was kind of a nightmare. The temperatures outside this summer time started heating up long before summer time even started. And by the time baseball season was in full swing, the temperature was in the high nineties and it just hovered there. I wanted to stay inside in the air conditioner basically all of the time, however I had to go out to the baseball diamond and be supportive of my coach partner. I took a cooling towel with me to every game and I truthfully suppose that if it wasn’t for my cooling towel, I might have died from heatstroke this summer time with all the high temperatures, occasionally I would sneak away and start the car up in the parking lot, just so I could stand there and run the air conditioner on high for a few hours, but let me tell you, nothing feels better than the cooling air coming out of those air conditioning vents in the car on a day when the ball field is upwards of a hundred degrees! I almost cried a single day when I forgot my cooling towel and I made my partner promise me that if the temperature next season was as tepid as this year that he would buy me a portable air conditioner component to bring with me.
