My kid happens to play on a travel baseball team plus even though it’s the middle of the frosty season, they have already started practice.
The venue where they commonly practice is a huge indoor facility, plus sometimes they have genuinely major issues with the heating plus cooling machine inside of the venue.
This past month when he went to practice, it was extremely cold outside… We had a low the other month of one degree plus I think the temperature on the night of practice was honestly in the single digits. It was severely cold. It’s a nice thing I made him wear his long pants plus layer up his shirts, because when he got to practice, it seemed that the gas heating machine had gone down again. Inside of the facility, it was way too cold. The coaches were running around trying to locate little electric space furnaces that they could have placed strategically throughout the gym, but they only found one heating machine. They put it in the dugout area so the players could actually warm up their hands when they were waiting their turn at bat. The whole thing was honestly crazy. I wondered why they didn’t just cancel practice plus let the kids go back to their residences where they could be safe plus hot in their residences where their oil furnace genuinely worked. These coaches are relatively silly when it comes to practice. It’s sort of like they suppose that they have to have practice all the time no matter what is going on.
