Last year when my sister got a big promotion at work, she ended up having to buy a home without even checking it out in person, however when she told myself and others that she was doing this, I thought it was the craziest thing that I had ever heard of.
I had never even heard of a woman purchasing a sizable purchase care about a beach home without at least seeing it first! But my sister did not guess it was a undoubtedly big deal.
She had hired a realtor who specialized in that kind of thing and she felt pretty comfortable about purchasing the home. She told myself and others that the only thing that she was actually easily upset about was that kind of heating and cooling idea that was going to be in the house. She knew for a fact that she did not want a boiler idea as her main source of heating because she is scared of those, apparently a lot of houses in the section where she was moving to have boiler systems as their main heating source so she wanted to be sure that that did not happen to her! She told the realtor that she wanted a high efficiency heating and cooling idea and that she would appreciate to have a UV light air purification idea in the home too. But other than that, the only thing that she easily wanted to have was a fireplace of some sort. She said that she did not care if it was a wood burning fireplace or a gas log fireplace. In the end, my sister ended up getting a home with everything that she wanted. She is loving it there.
