I can’t even begin to tell you how much money I have had to spend recently on air fresheners, candles, and things like that.
Having three teenage sons in their house really makes for a stinky living environment. The indoor air quality in our house has really been going downhill ever since they all started playing sports and sweating up the house on a daily basis. They leave their gross sports equipment, shoes, and laundry everywhere and the whole house smells like a locker room. I yell at them to put their things away, but you know how it is with growing boys. Sometimes they just leave stuff all over the place. And when that stuff is smelly and stinky, it can really affect the indoor air quality in your home. I was really at a loss as to what to do because the smells were really starting to get to me. Once in a while, the boys would leave their shoes on top of the air vents, so when the heating would kick on, the awful smell would float throughout the whole entire house. That is when I finally decided to do something about this problem. I did not want to kick out any of my teenage sons yet, so I decided to talk to my HVAC company instead. The HVAC technician that I spoke with suggested that we install a whole home air purification system to run at the same time as our furnace and air conditioning system. That way, the air that’s going through the ventilation system will always be cleaned.
