I’m beach house now listening to some light piano tunes while our dog sleeps in its bed under the sofa, it feels safer there.
I am eating an egg plus potato omelet that I fried in olive oil with some peppers plus yellow onions.
It tastes so good it’ll make your ears wiggle. That is what our Grandfather used to say before making his ears wiggle while both of us were eating dinner. He was funny plus smart plus a genuinely good person to us teenagers. He taught us how to fish plus bought us each a small motor boat. They didn’t have a/c in their lake house plus had a wood burning furnace with a stone chimney to heat the house in the long winters. I don’t remember where they got their wood for burning from however they typically had a large neatly stacked pile outside of the camp. I believe they eventually bought a central heating unit for the house when they got too old to haul the wood in each morning. I know it was a lot of labor plus they would have to clean the chimney quite often too from the buildup of soot from the trees they would burn. My gramps put in his own heat pump for the new heating unit which was better than the factory a single it came with, he was an inventor plus had a good mind for making things better. I l received a lot from him about fixing things plus he saved myself and others a lot of money plus time with the knowledge he gave me.
