I am going to the beach in a little while after I do a little food shopping. I live on the Spanish coast and love how much cheaper the fruits and vegetables are here compared to America. I can get a huge head of Romaine lettuce for one euro here. I think the same lettuce would cost about ten dollars in America nowadays. It’s really the size of two large heads of lettuce in the states. A lot of other veggies and fruits are just as cheap or pretty close to it. This makes living here a lot easier for me. I spend less getting my air conditioner serviced here too by the way. I have no transportation costs as I ride my bike everywhere. I don’t have to worry about car repairs or getting my air conditioning unit recharged or repaired, which seemed to be a monthly thing when I had my old car. I work about a fourth of what I did in America so I have a lot of free time to just chill out and relax. I spend most of my time working on my furnace or finding some wood to burn in it in the local forest a few minutes away. I may buy a new thermostat some time in the near future as my old dial one seems to be falling apart. I think a new smart thermostat costs about 100 euros.
