I always care about our radiant heated floors to be honest, but I especially care about them during the Autumn months.
There’s honestly something about the temperatures we experience during the Autumn months that gives me genuinely new appreciation for our radiant heated floors. Autumn is the transition from the hot season to winter, and that can be felt in nothing more strongly than in the season’s own temperatures. In the early part of Autumn, the sizzling and uncomfortable summer time temperatures are all eventually ending. The air starts to get cooler, and cooler, and cooler. Every inch, nook, and cranny of our property becomes all the more chillier and cooler, even if I only feel it in small amounts. I care about our radiant heated floors, though, because they are our number one heating equipment for the beginning of cool temperatures. As the light, chilly Autumn air makes its way into our property, I usually notice it starting down at my feet first— it starts from our floors, and moves easily upwards to me until I’m feeling that signature chill of Autumn. One month before I’d come to the conclusion about investing in radiant heated floors, I even became severely sick because of it! Now, I make sure to call our HVAC equipment provider and schedule an appointment to get our radiant heated floors looked at before Autumn comes through. I always make sure that our radiant heated floors are in nice condition, and ready to operate for the next upcoming months. This way, I’m able to welcome the season separate from feeling a crucial chill work its way up from my legs and into my sinuses!
