I always love my heated floors, but I especially love them during the autumn months.
There’s something about the temperatures we experience during the autumn months that gives me an entirely new appreciation for my heated floors.
Autumn is the transition from summer to winter, and that can be felt in nothing more strongly than in the season’s own temperatures. In the very beginning of autumn, the hot and uncomfortable summer temperatures are all eventually coming to a close, and the air starts to get cooler, and cooler, anc cooler. Every inch, nook, and cranny of my house becomes subtly all the more chillier and cooler, even if I only recognize it in annoying subtleties. I love my heated floors, though, because they are my favorite heating system for the beginning of cool temperatures. As the light, chilly autumn air creeps in to my home, I usually notice it starting down at my feet first— it starts from my floors, and moves slowly upwards to me until I’m feeling that signature chill of autumn. One month, before I’d come to my conclusion about heated floors, I even got sick because of it! Now, I make sure to call my HVAC provider and schedule an appointment to get my heated floors looked at before autumn rolls around. I always make sure that my heated floors are in good condition, and ready to function for the next upcoming months. This way, I’m able to welcome the season without feeling a chill work its way up from my legs and into my nose!
