I had a extreme issue with finding small puddles of water in the hallways of my lake condo recently.
It seemed that it came from the air vents of my central heating & program unit leaking! I did not think what was causing this as my heat & had been working fantastic & there had been no signs of a chop down coming or lack of air flow.
I just could not figure out what was going on or how to stop it. So i had no choice but to call the local heating & supplier to send out a certified heating & specialist to take a look at things. I did this, & when the local heating & specialist from the local HVAC supplier took a look, she found that the answer to the issue was to have my ductwork sealed. What was happening was the rain from outside was somehow getting into the ductwork & flowing through my air vents a little bit. It was going to cost a few bucks to have my ductwork sealed. But it was something that needed to be done if I did not want my hallways flooded & potential mold forming, so I did. And right after the ductwork sealing job was done there was no more puddles of water & my air vents were acting normal again. Eventually I could have had some real problems. So was a fantastic thing I decided to call the local heating & supplier to have it all checked out!
