The Wintertide weather is a real pain in the butt

I work inside an older office building that is located downtown. That building is almost 200 years old. It is on the National Historic register of sites. It is a absolutely giant tourist attraction in our town, even though the building is still used today! Even though the building is old and historical, it isn’tmy number one place in town. The indoor temperatures are regularly chilly and chilly, especially during the Wintertide season. The heat doesn’t work absolutely well anymore. Even when it is running, it’s tough to think any boiling air coming out of the vents. I’m thankful that the boss lets us bring a oil furnace to keep under our desk. As long as the oil furnace doesn’t make a lot of noise, management has no concern with the heaters. I purchased a small ten dollar oil furnace and it keeps my legs and feet boiling and toasty. My office is on the fourth floor of the building and there are a lot of windows. I am in charge of the old records department. There are boxes upon boxes of old information and it is my job to input the information into the laptop to upgrade the records to electronic files. It might sound like a boring job to some people, even though I like working alone and typing is a absolutely simple job. I barely chop a sweat at work, so I have plenty of energy for the 5 children I have waiting at home. At the end of my work day, they want to play and have fun. It’s the perfect job for someone like me.
