It was a sad day yesterday.
One of my favorite businesses wasn’t making enough to stay open and as a result was forced to close down.
This is the same heating and cooling company that I had been going to for the past 15 years and so seeing such a common place that so many people visited to get all of their heating and air conditioning needs close down was really a big surprise. It had all started when the competition for heating and air conditioning products became more intense. This was a small HVAC business and they were doing well until the big boys came along. They simply compete with larger, corporate HVAC businesses. I suppose the only good thing that came out of them closing was the large sale they had on all of their heating and a/c products. Everything needed to go, and it needed to go quickly. Once everything was on sale I was able to get a couple of nice standing air purifiers and a HEPA filter to go along with it. Now I would need to look for another heating and cooling business, because I didn’t want to go to the big guys in my area due to how expensive they were. I eventually found another small heating and a/c business outside of town that I would travel to whenever I needed supplies but it just wasn’t the same. On the brighter side, my indoor air quality has never been better since I got the air purifiers and the HEPA filter placed in my home and I will continue to use the same ones.
