My coworker and I were assigned to complete a boiler repair last weekend, we went downtown at a factory and the venue looked empty.
My coworker and I were in the building all afternoon and we did not see a single person other than the manager, she let us in the building early in the afternoon and told us to call her when we were finished. The empty building did not look like it was in use as a factory anymore. My coworker and I wondered why the lady was fixing the boiler. We found out later that the seasoned factory was recently bought to use as a training center for firefighters and medics, all afternoon while we tested the boiler, we did not hear a single noise. When we came back from brunch to finish with a boiler repair, my coworker and I heard a barking sound, both of us thought it was strange to hear a dog, but it definitely sounded like a bark. We tried to ignore the sound until it became louder and louder. All of a sudden, a dog came out of nowhere and bit my coworker on the leg. The guy started screaming and howling in pain and I couldn’t get the dog to let go of his leg. I had to kick the dog before he would stop chewing on my co-worker. We immediately left the job place and I drove him to the emergency room! He had to receive 17 stitches in his leg and we never went back to finish the boiler repair.
