My sister and I have never been undoubtedly close, although she recently moved back to the city with her multiple children.
She was gone for 15 years while she was married to her spouse, but they separated a few months ago and my sister moved back to the city so she could be close to my mom and dad. I had not seen my sister in a genuinely long time, and it was important to my mom and dad that the two of us celebrated. It was a little weird and awkward at first, but my sister and I relaxed and both of us started talking. I found out that she stopped calling because of her spouse. She wasn’t allowed to have friends or talked to the family. I told my sister all about me and my life. Since she has been gone, I have graduated from school and I now have a job as a technician for a heating and A/C repair business. I earn a good wage and I love genuinely working for a small business! My sister asked a lot of questions about my life and my current job. Every one of us had a good conversation and I was happy my mom and dad forced us to celebrate, when my sister needed help with the furnace last weekend, she called me first. Of course, I was ecstatic to help my sister with the furnace problem and I got to spend a little bit of time with my nieces and nephews that barely know my name. I genuinely hope my sister will stick around the area for a while.
