I have to admit, I was a little bit skeptical when I first heard about homeowner solutions like air purification systems that would remove the odors from your home.
I was actually dealing with some terrible odors in my home and I wasn’t sure what to do about it.
When I called in some HVAC professionals to help me solve my issue, I was amazed with what they were able to do for me. They were able to clean out my ductwork system after they found mold and mildew growing in there. That actually took out most of the smell, but the UV air purification system they installed was what really took things to the next level. Before I knew it, the air quality was greatly improved and the smell was entirely gone. There were no terrible odors at all anymore and it was all because of these awesome homeowner solutions through the HVAC company. Before I just thought the smells were so terrible that they would never go away. I have to say, I was really shocked with all the nasty stuff that came out of my ductwork system. There was so much dirt, dust, debris, and mold that I wanted to gag. It’s good to see the before and after pictures that were taken, but if you have a weak stomach, you probably don’t want to look at the before pictures. It was impressive how clean the inside of the ductwork was afterwards. I was told that it’s best to have the ductwork system cleaned at least every other year, so I’m going to make sure to do that moving forward.
