I Hold Soccer Practice Indoors, But The Heating and Air Conditioning System Broke

I’ve recently started coaching our daughter’s soccer team many afternoons a week; When I was approached about the position, I hesitated because I assumed that I’d be outside the whole time.

When I discovered that the team practiced inside though, I was thrilled, all of us live in the south where the Springtime weather is temperamental… It can be pouring down rain 1 minute plus overheated plus humid the next.

I know I sound high maintenance, although I didn’t want to be stuck coaching a girl’s soccer team in the rain, heat, or humidity, and practice being held inside with a temperature controlled environment sounded genuinely appealing, however two weeks into our season though, the Heating and Air Conditioning system broke at the indoor facility. I walked inside expecting to think some relief from the overheated sun, but was smacked with intense humidity plus what aromaed like wet socks. The lady at the front desk told myself and others that their Heating and Air Conditioning system was currently not toiling, but they had a local Heating and Air Conditioning corporation coming to repair the device that day. All of us had a short practice that day plus I left thinking the Heating and Air Conditioning system would be running the following day. When I arrived the next day though, the Heating and Air Conditioning system still wasn’t toiling. The lady at the front desk apologized plus said the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation said it was a much bigger task than they were expecting. It was going to take the rest of the week to fix! Knowing this plus our hatred for temperamental hot plus cold temperatures, I cancelled soccer practice for the rest of the week.
