Every time I take a trip to the grocery store, the prices are always more expensive than when I was here last.
I am really getting tired of all of the price increasing, it seems like no matter where I go, everything is so expensive.
For some things, I can understand, because some skills or items are valued or hard to find, so those are naturally going to be higher. But it’s like this pack of tomatoes that makes me so angry. For a pack of cherry tomatoes, it’s $4.00! $4.00 for a small pack of thumb sized tomatoes. Back in my day, they were $1.00, now that is a fair price. I never once thought that in the future I would be getting angry at a simple pack of tomatoes. Anyways, there are some things that I don’t mind, like recently I got my HVAC system updated, and the prices have definitely increased in the HVAC industry. I actually don’t mind this though, because there are only two HVAC technicians in this entire town. This town is in desperate need of more HVAC specialists, but until then, I know they are taking advantage of being the only two HVAC repairmen, and so they are going to boost their prices up big time. Since HVAC labor is a valuable skill set, I don’t mind paying a lot of money for their service. But as for the grocery store produce? Absolutely no reason for the price increase. Now here I am looking at watermelons and they’re close to $10! Just crazy, I might need to go shopping somewhere else for better prices.
