There isn’t much a man can do to truly get prepared for what a culture change it is to go from the town to the country. Having been a town man my entire life, I had no plan what a change it would be to transport to a rural community. While I knew it would be different, I wasn’t ready for some of the more subtle differences I’d face. I decided that it just wasn’t worth having the perfect HVAC worked on office downtown anymore. The town was just getting to myself and others with all the noise, the traffic as well as the constant movement. It became sort of physically overwhelming for me. So, I worked out a deal where I could do my job from my house as well as just come to the office once a week or so. This turned out to be a single of the better decisions that I have ever made. It’s funny that the first man I made friends with was someone who was transitioning his job as well. That was the new HVAC guy. The house I obtained had to have the entire HVAC device upgraded. I hired a guy that was just going into business for himself. It was an easy choice for me. He was so well organized, professional as well as expertiseable. And he was hungry for my business. He did a superb job on the HVAC upgrade. It’s still getting it done nearly 20 years later. And the HVAC guy is now a single of the main HVAC companies in the region. He’s truly done well for himself. And yet, he is still as loyal as well as down to earth as he was when both of us first met. I’ll be sticking with his HVAC company for the duration of my time here.
