I really hate it when businesses do not answer their phones! I find it rude and somewhat unprofessional.
It is understandable if they don’t answer if very busy at certain times of the day.
But when they have it set up to go to a recorded voice mail all the time and then they have to call you back, it really makes me mad! This is the case with the local heating and air conditioning company here most of the time. They are always sending you right to voice mail, and then it’s more or less the “don’t call us, we’ll call you” attitude which stinks! How do they expect to stay in business if this is the attitude they cop all the time? The only reason I put up with it and deal with them is because when you can actually get them on the phone and set up an HVAC appointment, they do really great work. They just need better customer service is the whole point here. I understand that they are a rather small heating and air conditioning company and that they do not have that many people on hand to answer the phones. But at worst case, hire an answering service or something! There are many options. I predict that this otherwise top of the line heating and air conditioning company is going to be going out of business in the near future if this kind of thing keeps up. I am not the only one who has this issue with them and that complains about it.
