For our corporation I need to own a chiller program in order to keep the facility cool… If I have no cooling or imcorrect amounts of it, I am out of luck.
For years I relied on the same basic model.
I learn online that correct yearly repair on the chiller is pressing. I never wanted to spend the money to have a professional do chiller repair. I also didn’t want to do the repair myself & possibly ruin our machine. I just elected to not supply the program correct service, and a chiller can last anywhere from 15-25 years, depending on the model. I was hoping to get twenty years out of mine. I ended up needing to update our program after ten; Rather than buying another chiller, I chose to rent an air cooled chiller… The cost of renting a chiller was minimal & a area of the rental fee is yearly repair. I kind of figured repair on a program was pointless. I figured it was the chiller companies trying to sell me something, well now that I do chiller renting & I get repair yearly, I have realized how crucial it is, but my chiller never threatens to shut down & is way more efficient than I am used to. I also think this program is going to last years & years because it is regularly operated & worked on. I am tempted to buy this recognizable model even though I guess I won’t supply it the same level of service. I might just stick with renting until I retire.
