Recovery program after a car accident

I got in a bad car accident around 6 months ago.

I got t-boned at an intersection and have been all messed up.

My neck, shoulder and hip constantly bother me. I have trouble sleeping and moving around. Of course working out became a problem for me. I started gaining weight and feeling really down about myself. I found that a core progression near me offers wellness and recovery programs for those with injuries. I have only just started the class but I already have seen a difference. My mobility has increased significantly. I know stretches to do before bed and what to do once I wake up. My muscles no longer feel as tight and uncomfortable. I also have learned how to work out in a way to not further hurt myself. I am starting to lose some of the weight I gained. It is really nice being with people in a similar situation to me. There are men with sports related injuries. There are older folks that want to gain back some of their strength. I also have another person in class that crashed his motorcycle and needs similar help that I do. We all work together as a group with a certified fitness expert. It is really nice seeing others like me staying motivated and hopeful that they will feel better again. Someday I hope to be basically the same as I was before an accident. I don’t want to be in pain anymore. I don’t want to be careful with how I move my body and not do certain things due to my injuries.
